Who We Are
Ainscough Industrial Services (AIS) is a family-owned, independent industrial services group supporting businesses across the UK, Europe and beyond. With more than 300 people across four specialist companies, the AIS Group provides machinery relocation, installation, heavy lifting, engineering, wind energy sector support, and logistics services.
Our experienced teams, wholly owned fleet of specialist equipment, and strategic network of operational locations across Europe allow us to support projects ranging from individual machinery moves to complex factory relocations. By combining our companies’ expertise, we provide coordinated services tailored to each customer’s operational and technical requirements.
Our Heritage
Our history began in 1976, when the Ainscough family established an industrial services business. Over the following decades, the business developed its engineering and machinery relocation capabilities, with the AIS Group holding company formed in 2013. Since then, the Group has expanded through acquisitions and partnerships, bringing together specialist businesses across the industrial services sector.

Our Companies
The AIS Group comprises four specialist companies, each providing expertise in different areas of industrial services. Together, they offer customers access to a wide range of technical capabilities and project resources.
AIS Vanguard
AIS Vanguard provides machinery relocation, installation, removal, technical heavy lifting and mechanical and electrical engineering services. Its teams support individual machinery moves, factory relocations and complex industrial projects across the UK.
AIS Wind Energy
Joining the AIS Group in 2019, AIS Wind Energy specialises in onshore wind turbine installation, commissioning, servicing, maintenance and decommissioning. Its teams provide component replacement, lifting and safety inspection services for the wind energy sector.
AIS Eurelo
Formed in 2020, AIS Eurelo specialises in international industrial relocation and installation projects. With operations across Europe, the company provides cross-border logistics, machinery dismantling, lifting, transport and engineering support for complex machinery and factory moves.
AIS Flegg Projects
AIS Flegg Projects joined the AIS Group in 2025, bringing specialist expertise in machinery moving and logistics in highly regulated industries. Based in Aylesbury, its teams also provide specialist medical equipment relocation and installation services for environments requiring careful handling and planning.
How the AIS Group Works Together
Each AIS Group company provides specialist services and works alongside other Group businesses on projects requiring additional expertise.
For example, a factory relocation may involve AIS Vanguard managing machinery dismantling and installation, with AIS Eurelo coordinating international transport and cross-border requirements.
By combining specialist teams, equipment and project management resources, we offer customers a coordinated approach to complex industrial projects. A single point of contact simplifies communication, coordinates delivery and maintains consistent safety and quality standards throughout the project.
